SUBSTANCE ABUSE ASSESSMENT COUNSELOR
In North Carolina, a substance abuse assessment is a crucial step for individuals convicted of DWI. It involves an alcohol and drug use assessment conducted by a licensed or certified substance use counselor. The assessment includes an interview and a structured questionnaire to evaluate the individual’s relationship with alcohol and/or drugs. It costs $100.00 and typically $15.99 for a copy of your driving record. You can access the list of all certified counselors in the State down below.
